Code Institute's Diploma in Software Development is an intense coding bootcamp created and validated by tech industry experts and academics. Graduates are awarded a globally recognized Diploma in Software Development. Equivalent to Level 5 on the European Qualifications Framework and Level 8 on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework.

Throughout the preceding year I have studied the basics of coding. I first learnt how to use semantic HTML5 to structure a website and build upon its presentation with CSS3. This allowed me to create static websites. Some further learning points were the importance of a good user experience, responsive design and version control. I have also developed projects using the Bootstrap Framework. More recently I have completed modules in JS and jQuery basics as an introduction to modern programming languages.
I am currently working on my second Milestone Project for Code Institute, which uses JavaScript to consume RESTful API and retrieve data in JSON format. The purpose of the project is to create a front-end website that will present an interactive data, when user engages with the data this will cause DOM to alter accordingly.
in the future modules I will be covering Fundamental Python, Practical Python, Data Centric development and Full Stack Framework with Django.
